I guess having 30-200B model will help else people will just look and leave.
Companies will inevitably develop such large models anyway. Would you rather see them become closed-source? If you actually looked into it, you'd know that the parameter count here isn't really that large at all. I'm very glad that models which are continuously improving in capability and getting closer to closed‑source ones can be open‑sourced. The biggest benefit of open source is not local deployment
