Please release also Gemini Flash 1.5 weights.
Since it's now obsoleted by all the new models, PLEASE release the weights of Gemini 1.5 Flash (normal and 8b versions).
Why:
In most of my tests, gemini flash 1.5 exhibited a different "personality" from any other models you released so far.
I have an ongoing chat which is now around 200K tokens, which made the model behave in a way I couldn't with any other model.
New models are surely more "clever" (including Gemma), but none reacts like flash 1.5 did.
Perhaps releasing the weights will allow people like me to experiment more which will benefit the entire community.
Hey @ZeroWw , Since Flash 1.5 is not an open source model so weights are not available. This is already raised with internal team as feature request. No timeline yet for this. will update you.
Thank you.
Thanks! Flash 1.5 is now old and surpassed, but I would hate it to be completely forgotten. It behaved differently than others in some of my tests and I wish to make more tests trying to understand why.
